A total of 45 of our pupils participated in the Annual Swimming Gala in Cavan Sports & Leisure Centre last Wednesday and we had great success. The following medals were won:
Súin came 1st in the U8 Back Crawl. Ruairà came 1st, Evan came 2nd and Oscar came 3rd in the U8 Front Crawl.
Ruairà came 2nd in the U10 Back Crawl & Thomas came 2nd in the U10 Breaststroke.
Erin came 1st in the U10 Back Crawl and Saoirse came 4th in the U10 Back Crawl while Orna came 2nd, Molly came 3rd and Eimear came 4th in the U10 Breaststroke. Kayden came 2nd and Eimhin came 3rd in the U10 Front Crawl. Daria came 1st and Aisling came 2nd in the U10 Front Crawl.
Faolán came 1st in the U12 Back Crawl and Archie came 2nd. Charlotte came 2nd and Amy came 3rd in the U12 Breaststroke. Ma'ake came 2nd in the U12 Front Crawl.
Mia came 2nd in the U14 Breaststroke and Xavier came 3rd in the U14 Front Crawl and Beatrice came 2nd in the U14 Girls Front Crawl.
We also did really well in the relay races with the Boys U10 team coming 2nd, and the Girls U10 team coming 1st. The Boys U12 team came 4th and the Girls U12 team came 3rd. The U14 Boys team came 2nd and the U14 Girls team came 1st.
