Well done to all the children who participated in the School Marathon last Friday at Killygarry N.S. A sincere word of thanks to all the parents and family members who sponsored the children. There was over €4000 raised and there is still money coming in. We are going to use the money to put in a shed to keep all our physical education equipment in. Some of the money will also be used to put in a poly tunnel at the back of the school so the children can learn to grow some

Last Wednesday 35 of our students participated in the Annual Swimming Gala in Cavan Swimming Pool and Sports Complex. We had great success on the day and the children swam amazingly well. Here are some of our medal winners but all the children who participated on the day was a winner. Gearoid came 1st place in the U8 Back Crawl Oscar came 1st in the U10 Back Crawl Siún came 2nd in the U10 Back Crawl Evan came 3rd in the U10 Breast Stroke Robyn came 4th place in the U10 Brea

Last Thursday the senior classes sang, played music and performed the Nativity in St. Brigid's Church Killygarry for all their parents and grandparents. It was a fabulous evening and the children did a great job.

Today we had a special visit from Santa Claus who arrived in a Fire Engine. He brought sweets and Christmas Annuals for the children, all provided by our wonderful Parents Association.

Today we handed over 104 shoe boxes to the Team Hope Charity who deliver these special gifts to children across the world who are in need of something special this Christmas. Well done to all the families who participated in this every worthwhile charitable event.

The School Book Fair will arrive in the school on Monday 17th November and will finish up on Friday 21st of November. It will be open until 4:30pm on the Wednesday and Thursday for parents during the Parent Teacher Meetings. We appreciate your support as always!
