School Marathon
Well done to all the children who participated in the School Marathon last Friday at Killygarry N.S. A sincere word of thanks to all the parents and family members who sponsored the children. There was over €4000 raised and there is still money coming in. We are going to use the money to put in a shed to keep all our physical education equipment in. Some of the money will also be used to put in a poly tunnel at the back of the school so the children can learn to grow some

Sam’s Business Bus
For the second year, 6th class pupils have started to take part in an entrepreneurial programme ‘Sam’s Business Bus’. In these weekly sessions via zoom, the pupils are learning about the characteristics of an entrepreneur and how many people locally and across the world started with an idea which grew into a company or business. This year Glenillen Farm have come onboard as sponsors of the programme and they kindly sent out yogurt pouches for the pupils to try. Here they are

Boxercise
6th class had their first boxercise class today. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session and learning all the dynamic movements involved. Thanks a million to Borys the instructor, everyone is very excited for next week!

Swimming Gala
Last Wednesday 35 of our students participated in the Annual Swimming Gala in Cavan Swimming Pool and Sports Complex. We had great success on the day and the children swam amazingly well. Here are some of our medal winners but all the children who participated on the day was a winner. Christmas Carol Service
Last Thursday the senior classes sang, played music and performed the Nativity in St. Brigid's Church Killygarry for all their parents and grandparents. It was a fabulous evening and the children did a great job.

Santa Claus arrives to Killygarry N.S. in a Fire Engine
Today we had a special visit from Santa Claus who arrived in a Fire Engine. He brought sweets and Christmas Annuals for the children, all provided by our wonderful Parents Association.
