Killygarry GAA 24 Hour Walkathon in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland
Please support Killygarry G.A.A. club in their 24 Hour Walkathon in Aid of Down Syndrome Ireland beginning on Friday 22nd of May at 6pm. What a great cause!


Two past pupils in the Ulster Intermediate Ladies Final
Everyone at St. Brigid's National School Killygarry would like to wish our very own Ailbhe Kennedy and Derbhile Lynch the best of luck in the Ulster Intermediate Ladies Final which takes place tomorrow at 5pm in Brewster Park in Enniskillen. Ailbhe and Derbhile are past pupils of our school and Ailbhe has just completed her first teaching practice in the school. FTD Brothers Marathon
The FTD Brothers, Jordan and Cian Adams, ran past our school today as part of their journey of completing 32 marathons in 32 days in the 32 counties of Ireland. All the pupils came out to cheer them on with their flags, posters, bunting and balloons. Jordan and Cian Adams are completing this challenge to raise funds to find a cure for and support people with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and yesterday they had raised the 1,000,000 pound sterling mark. FAI Girls Soccer Tournament
Well done to all the sixth class girls who participated in the FAI 5-Aside Soccer Tournament in Bailieboro today. The girls won their first match 2-0, drew their second match 2-2 and won their third game 3-0 but failed to qualify for the final on goal difference. Thank you so much to Ms. Keaney for training the team for the past 5 weeks and for bringing them to the event today. Well done everyone!

Cruella de Vil and all her Dalmatians, which she had an awful job keeping track of on World Book Day!


Ficheall Chess Tournament
Well done to all the 140 children from Killygarry N.S., St. Felim's N.S. Cavan, Crosserlough N.S., Drumcrave N.S. and St. Clare's N.S. Cavan who participated in the Ficheall Chess Tournament in Killygarry Community Centre on Thursday 12th of March. There was great respect shown by all the chess players.


Wishing Killygarry GFC a very Happy 60th Birthday
All the staff, pupils and Board of Management of Killygarry National School would like to wish Killygarry Gaelic Football Club a very happy 60th birthday and we wish them well with their celebrations on Saturday night. Killygarry GFC has always been a great support to our school, giving us access to their indoor and outdoor facilities and last year they gave us a full set of Gaelic footballs for our school. Thank you for your support and happy birthday!


School Marathon
Well done to all the children who participated in the School Marathon last Friday at Killygarry N.S. A sincere word of thanks to all the parents and family members who sponsored the children. There was over €4000 raised and there is still money coming in. We are going to use the money to put in a shed to keep all our physical education equipment in. Some of the money will also be used to put in a poly tunnel at the back of the school so the children can learn to grow some


Boxercise
Today all classes commenced a six week programme of Boxercise with coach Borys. The children are really enjoying it so far. Here are some photos of our Junior Infant class in action
