Congratulations to all the children who participated in the Cross-Country Running Primary School Competition in Killinkere yesterday. The children had a great day and for the first time in a long time it was dry and not near as muddy as every other year. A sincere word of thanks to Ms. White who organised the event and trained the team and to those who assisted her with the training schedule and trials. Thank you also to Lisa and Aisling who helped on the day.
Our Junior Girls Team came in 3rd place and our Intermediate Girls Team came in 1st place. As well as this we had some individual success with Aisling Costello coming 1st overall, Caoimhe Costello coming 2nd overall and Mia Keaney coming 12th overall.
