School Drop-Off & Pick Up
All parents/guardians collecting a child from the school must enter via the Alacken Road and exit by Killygarry Motors. You must drive up the slip road, observing the fact that children may be walking home on this narrow road. At infant home time parents are asked to park in the set-down area and get out of their car to collect their child. At 2:40pm parents are asked to remain in their cars and keep moving forward in the set down area to keep the flow of traffic going. Please see the letter and map attached.
Breakfast & After-School Club
Laochra Academy runs a Breakfast Club in the school from 7:50am to 8:50am with breakfast provided.
They also run an Infant Hour from 1:30pm to 2:30pm each day and an After-School Club from 2:30pm to 6:30pm.
Parents and Guardians are entitled to receive a subsidy from the National Childcare Scheme to help towards the cost of the above.
