Grandparents Remember

Second class had a visit from Ruairi's Granny and Cora's Granny last Wednesday and they told us about how they celebrated their Holy Communion many years ago

Finn and Aoibheann's Grandad and Hollie's Grandad also came in and they told us all about life in the old Killygarry school. We learnt about how they walked to school, often in groups, bringing in the turf for the stove, fixing up the football with newspaper if it got damaged and spending lots of time on mental maths!!
