All the children can wear something green to school on Friday 20th of March to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. We will be doing a few dances in the school yard, taught by the teachers and the sixth class pupils. We will also be having a Ceolchoirm in the Community Centre for all the pupils.

The Junior Infants will receive their vaccinations in the school on Wednesday 18th of March with parental consent.

The school will be closed on Tuesday 17th of March for St. Patrick's Day. We hope you all have a great day at the local parades.

Tin Whistle classes take place for 5th and 6th class pupils every Monday with Aishling as part of Music Generation.

The pupils will dress up as their favourite book character on World Book Day on Friday 6th of March.

Our school Chess teams will participate in the Ficheall Chess Tournament in Killygarry Community Centre all day on the 5th of March. Other schools from across the county will be joining us on the day.

The Cumann na mBunscol Junior Quiz will take place in the Hotel Kilmore on the 4th of March from 7pm. This year there are two quizzes taking place - one for the junior teams and one for the senior teams.
