The safety and well-being of all our pupils are of upmost importance.  The staff are all trained in Child Protection and the Designated Liaison Person (DLP) for Child Protection is the school Principal.  All pupils participate in the Stay Safe and RSE Programme.  A new sensory room has been installed in the school for use by every child if needed.  We run the Braincalm programme in the school for pupils who need it and have two trained staff members in this programme.  Meditation is carried out twice a week over the school intercom system by the Deputy Principal and all staff are trained in Restorative Practices which is embedded into our Code of Behaviour.  As well as the above we run the Stand up for Yourself Programme, Fun Friends (junior pupils), Friends for Life (senior pupils) and Zippy’s Friends.
