SESE: History, Geography & Science,

History, Geography and Science are taught using a whole-school approach and a whole-school programme.  The school has won multiple Discover Science Awards and there is a great interest in science and technology in the school and this is taught as a practical subject, where possible, through the use of science equipment. Local history, Irish history and world history is taught in a fun and engaging way while geography is of paramount importance and the school gets involved in the Heritage in Schools programme annually.  Nature walks and school trips help instil a love of these subjects in our pupils.
