Senior Infants had a brilliant few days in the lead up to midterm.
We made an awful witches brew, with everything from eyeballs to brains as ingredients. And some children were brave enough to sample it!!
We read lots of Halloween stories e.g. Room on the Broom, Skeleton for Dinner and The God, The Bad and the Ugly.
In Maths, we had some creepy insects and skeletons make there way into our activities.
In PE, we played games like Witches hat tag and had lots of fun!
During Aistear, we gave a witch a new hairstyle and chopped up her insides.đ We also put our hands in sensory boxes to discover and describe what maggots, eyeballs, ghost poo and spider legs feel like.
And to complete the run up to Halloween, we had a spooky Halloween disco with our resident DJ!
