Bread and Butter!

We made our own bread and butter today at school. And thank you to Mícheál who brought us in some homemade jam.

The recipe:

3 1/2 cups of flour

1 1/2 cups of warm water

7g sachet of yeast

2 tablespoons of oil

2 teaspoons of salt

1 teaspoon of sugar

Adding the yeast to the flour

You have to knead it for ten minutes.

Three narrow pieces.

We plaited it in to a loaf

Crusty bread served with homemade butter and homemade jam.
