Beibhinn O’Connor was a bright and beautiful 9 year old girl from Cork who passed away with a heart condition last September. Now her parents are asking National School children in Ireland to do small acts of kindness in her memory. You can read more at the website https://www.theheartangel.com/about-our-heart-angel
So this Thursday, the pupils of Killygarry school will have no written homework. Instead they will perform random acts of kindness for their families or each other. They can bring in €2 to school on Friday for Beibhinn’s chosen charity Make a Wish Foundation. This is a charity which grants wishes to seriously ill children and their families. Their funds have been drastically depleted due to the pandemic and they would greatly appreciate the donation.
