Today is the National Day of Prayer for Children and we held a short prayer service to pray for children around the world. A chess tournament was held on Thursday between Killygarry NS and Farnham NS. The aim of the tournament was for the children to have fun, make some new friends and practise their chess skills. Thank you to Farnham NS for hosting us.

Huge thanks to Salesi, Andrew, Malcom and all at Cavan Rugby club for organising the blitz today. Killygarry footed 4 teams and enjoyed varying levels of success on the pitch. A great day out was had and we returned to school with a new kitbag of rugby balls, bibs and cones.
Lucy, in second class, gave a very kind donation of €100 to Cystic Fibrosis Cavan using some of her First Communion money. Pictured below is Miss Smith (Teacher), Lucy, Mia and Lorraine. Lucy received a beautiful framed certificate from Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, Cavan Branch.
