We were delighted to welcome Mr. Ian Patterson from Heritage Ireland to the school last Friday with all his birds of prey. We got to meet his barn owl, his kestrel and his spotted owl. Lots of children got to feed the birds and hold them on their arms.
The Inland Fisheries Board visited our school last Wednesday and brought lots of small fish and sea life with them for all the children in the school to see. Everyone had a great day!

A poster competition was held during Friendship Week and the winners were announced at the Easter Assembly. The winners were: Jamie Almond (sen infants), Ava Tierney and James Wood (1st), Alex Kiernan (2nd), Martin Sheils (3rd), Darragh Flynn (4th) and Luke Hand (5th).
Killygarry pupils did very well in the Speech and Drama exams this year, with over 120 pupils achieving a mark of over 80%. There were four medal winners- those who scored 92% or above: Ryan Lynch (2nd class), Kevin White (4th class), Liorah Smith (5th class) and Dearbhla Brady (5th class). Congratulations to all.
