Post-match celebrations

The whole school got to join in the celebrations today, with a post-match party in the Community Centre. We had speeches, presentation of certificates, drinks, crisps and ice-cream. A big thank you to Gerry Sheridan and Ice-Cream Treats for the free ice-cream and to Ann Reilly and Value-Centre Cash and Carry for the free drinks.

Representatives trom Spar Ireland came to the school on Tuesday the 12th May to present the boys’ soccer team with their jerseys for the forthcoming All-Ireland finals in the Aviva Stadium. All the Ulster teams will wear yellow jerseys on the day. They’re looking great and all set for the big day!

There was great excitement in Killygarry National School last Thursday when the boys’ team won the Ulster FAI medium schools soccer competition in Cootehill. Congratulations to all the sixth class pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday 21st of March in the Cathedral of St. Patrick and St. Felim, Cavan.  Almost 160 pupils received this sacrament on the day.
